Lastra is the CAD/CAM software specific for marble, granite, stone, and similar materials used in the industry by numerically controlled bridge saws. Lastra has been conceived in order to be installed directly on the machine or in the office, and expresses its flexibility when used in conjunction with Touch Drive. It manages geometric shapes, nesting both interactive and automatic, and it can be linked to a Camera Software option to import pictures of slabs from digital cameras. Lastra, combined with Frestag, allows the user to do any kind of bridge saw machining, such as: flat machining or profile machining (both for stone slabs and blocks). It includes a 3D view and photo-realistic rendering of the project, as well as the interactive modification and elaboration of designs.
